Mother’s Day Floristry ClassFabienne Egger, Wednesday 1st, March, 2017 Although my mum is a florist I still love to treat her to a beautiful bouquet for Mother’s Day with my own personal touch added – her favourite flowers, colours or scented candles. Just like Valentine’s you can’t avoid how commercial the day has become but you can still be creative and show your mum just how important she is and how you appreciate all she does by giving her something different.
We are all time poor and guilty of not spending enough time with our loved ones so this Mother’s Day I have created a special course that gives you the opportunity to spend a day together and create two luxurious hand tied floral bouquets. I will teach you both my wrapping techniques and how to combine flowers and colours together to create the perfect arrangements. Your first bouquet will be a compact, short, domed hand tied bouquet wrapped with layers of tissue. You will then learn how to create a larger, long stemmed bouquet with seasonal flowers and a different type of wrapping. The class takes place on Saturday 25th March in The Dome at the stunning Medicine Garden, a Victorian walled garden in Cobham and will run from 10am until 4pm for £189 per person.
